Died, at West Union, March 11. Clara May, only child of W.D. and H.E. Stafford, aged 3 years and 4 months.

Another flower has drooped and died.
While yet in beauty's youthful bloom;
Another little prattling tongue
Lies cold and silent in the tomb.

The little locks of golden hair,
And soft blue eyes that sparkled bright,
Are covered with the dust of earth,
And hid forever from our sight.

And yet, we would not call her back.
To tread these thorny paths again;
But calmly give her up to sleep,
Till we at last shall meet again.
