MRS. LOUISE DUNBAR BURIED HERE SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

Mrs. Louise Dunbar, who closed her home west of the English Lutheran church last fall to stay with her sister, Mrs. Rachel Timm in Hawkeye, was found dead in her bed there Friday morning. Death was believed, due to a stroke which she suffered in the night. Mrs. Dunbar was 78 years of age, and for many years was a member of the late Mark Gilbert family residing on Maple avenue. Funeral rites were held in the Methodist church here on Sunday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Thos. Neilsen with burial by the side of her husband in the West Union cemetery.

Louise Winkelman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Winkelman, was born in Chicago, July 21, 1858. She came to Iowa with her parents when a small child, settling on a farm in Windsor township. She was married to Harvey Dunbar in 1897 and they established their home in West Union where he was engaged in mason work. He died in 1924.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lena Rappold and Mrs. Timm, both of Hawkeye; two half sisters and five nieces and nephews, all of Hawkeye.

Deceased was baptized in the Lutheran church in Chicago and was confirmed in the brick church in Windsor township. She was affiliated with the congregation and an ever faithful worker and member.

Mrs. Dunbar was highly respected, a woman of good character and industrious, a faithful friend to those with whom she associated.
