Dubuque Herald 10-11-187 MRS CATHERINE LANE, 87, died on Thursday 10-8-1874. Funeral from the residence of her daughter, Mrs Driscoll, on Jackson Str on Sunday. Burial Key West.
Telegraph Herald Fri., Nov. 29, 1940 and Sun., Dec 1, 1940 - Edith Norcross Lane, assistant librarian buried Linwood. Daughter of William W.C. Lane & Olive Ann Bradbury Lane.
Telegraph Herald Dec 1, 1931 P. H. Halpin, age 83, prominent in Dubuque County politics died at Mercy. Came as a boy to Dubuque with his parents, Michael & Mary Halpin. Survived by 3 daughters - Mrs Regina Goldy, Long Beach CA, Mrs Genevieve Lane, Muscatine, IA, and Mrs Joseph (Margaret) Dows of Dubuque, and two sons - Sylvester and Leander of Dubuque. His wife died a few years ago and alsosons P.H., Jr., Robert and William.
Dubuque Daily Times Jan 25, 1872 WILLIAM W.C. LANE - formerly of Boston, age 45. Funeral from residence on Iowa Street betweeen 13th and 14th. Brother of J B Lane, Esq. Leaves a wife & one daughter, age 14, one sister & his mother in Madison, Ind.
