OBSEQUIES OF MINNIE RUFF – There is seldom seen a more beautiful thought solemn sight from that presented at the funeral of the late Minnie Ruff on Wednesday. All of the classmates of the late happy girl attended her obsequies in body, and wore the badges of mourning. The deceased was a girl of great personal worth, endeared to all and a special favorite to her classmates. That she had a wide circle of friends was apparent from the very large number who gathered at the family residence at her funeral, and followed the remains to their last rest. Hundreds of hearts made sad by this dispensation united in sympathy with the father, mother and family who have lost one of their best treasures.
