DEATH OF MICHAEL SLAVIN – One more of the early residents of Dubuque have gone home, Mr. Michael Slavin died at Shullsburg, Wis. on the 2nd inst. at the ripe old age of 72. The resident was one of the early residents of Dubuque, and to many is well known here. He removed to Shullsburg some years ago. Those whose hands assisted to lay the foundation of our present prosperous city are thus fast passing away.
