Judy J. Jahn was born on June 11, 1942 in Spirit Lake to Milton and Doris (Tritle) Jergensen. She graduated from Spirit Lake High School and married Ross W. Jahn November 25, 1960. They lived in Storm Lake, Iowa City, Agana, Guam, and Marshall, MN before moving back to Spirit Lake in 1972.

Judy was an Accredited Medical Record Technician for Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for several years, a member of United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake, and a member of the Iowa Medical Record Association. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking. She also enjoyed music, dancing and swimming.

She died at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital at age 53. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jon Jergensen.

Survivors: husband Ross; sons, Jeff and Chris; parents, Milton and Doris Jergensen; grandchildren.

Services were held at Turner Funeral Home April 12.
