Berdell Thompson, 82, of 627 Acres, died Friday, September 23, at St. Francis Care Center.

He was born January 31, 1901, to James Thompson and Clara L. Wasson. He married Helen Pauline Vahle on August 12, 1921, at Quincy, Illinois; she died January 23, 1975.

Mr. Thompson was retired from Lagomarcino-Grupe Wholesale Company.

Surviving: One daughter, Evelyn Walker, Burlington; one brother, Harold, Missouri; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 1:30 Tuesday, Prugh's Chapel, the Reverend Ernest Ellmers; Memorial Park mausoleum.
