Services for Miss Catherine Mary Pietzsch, 84, of 421 E. Wheeler, West Burlington, who died Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. following a long illness, will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Elliott-Lunning Chapel. Dr. G. Dempster Yinger will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. She was born May 9. 1879, in Des Moines county, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Dewein Pietzsch. She lived on a farm on Flint bottom road for several years. She was a member of First Methodist church. Survivors include: two sisters, Mrs. Emma Nelins, 1107 Angular, and Martha Pietzsch, 711 High; and one brother. John Pietzsch, 711 High. Three sisters and one brother died earlier.
