Sandra Kay Runquist, 59, of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, died at 11:43 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2003, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born December 14, 1943, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Clayton Montelle and Helen Elizabeth Dillon Coontz.

Ms. Runquist was a homemaker.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Sherrill of West Burlington and Kristina Runquist of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren; one brother, Danny Coontz of Fort Collins, Colo.; four sisters Karen Williams, Kathy Davis and Linda Hand, all of Burlington, and Jan Ingle of Albany, Ore.; and several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The funeral for Ms. Runquist will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Betsy Lee officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

A memorial has been established in her name.
