Mary Wayne Lestage, 75, of New London Nursing & Rehab Center, died at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2003 at the care center.

Born November 21, 1927 in Natchitoches, Louisana, she was the daughter of Carl Wayne and Johnny Williams Adams. On May 24, 1944, she married Joseph Clyde Lestage in Natchitoches.

Mrs. Lestage was a homemaker. She also worked at Montgomery Wards for 25 years.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband of the care center; one son, Clyde Lestage of Danville; one daughter, Mary Jo Lestage of Danville, one grandson, her mother, Johnny Adams Booty of Natchitoches; one brother, Dewitt Booty of Natchitoches; two sisters, Eleanor Hurley of Pelham, Alabama, and Sister Alma Rose of San Antonio; several cousins; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

There will be no family visitation. Friends may call after noon on Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel.

A graveside committal service for Mrs. Lestage will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Danville, with the Rev. Matt Miller officiating.
