Vital Statistics for GG grands

My GG grandfather, ELWOOD TUSH and his wife, SUSAN H WRIGHT, lived and died in Delaware county. From the family Bible, I have the date that Elwood died, but have found no record of death, newspaper obit, or even a record of where he's buried. His wife, Susan H Wright (Tush) is buried in a cemetery there. Their daughter, Cornelia, also passed there. Does anyone have ANY suggestions as to where I might find this information on Elwood? He held several patents for farming tools - all records that I have copies of from newspaper articles. I've reached a dead end. Any suggestions or help I could glean from this site would be truly appreciated.
