In the 1850 Davis County Iowa, Fox River census there is a William McDaniel, age 23, born PA, with wife Syrena, age 23, b. Ohio, child Henry, b. Iowa, and Robert, b. 1800 in Pennsylvania.

I am looking for a Robert McDaniel b. about 1800 in PA, who was stated to have "gone west" in a Carbon, then Northampton County PA history. All we have is his given name, Robert, and the statement regarding him in the history.

Anyone who has information about this family which may help connect, or eliminate the Iowa Robert McDaniel, please contact me. All hints, clues etc. most welcome.
