The funeral of Mrs. Henrietta Miller, whose death notice appeared in Saturday's HERALD, occurred this afternoon from the family residence, 330 Ninth avenue, with burial in Springdale.
Deceased was born August 1st, 1822 at Frankenhausen, Germany, was married July 7th, 1848, to Christian Miller and came to this county soon after, settling in Brooklyn and later in Aurora, Ill. They moved to Clinton in 1857 and had resided here ever since.
Thus has passed away one of our old settlers. She was entirely devoted to her family and lived a quiet Christian life. A loving husband and six children are left to mourn her loss. By her gentle and kind disposition she had gained many friends in Clinton, who join with the stricken family in their bereavement.
