The Clinton Herald Saturday November 6, 1982 p. 13 Robert H.J. Raun, 65, of 2820 N. 3rd St., died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn. Services will be noon Monday at St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. Robert Brown of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville, Ill., officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Clinton. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-9 Sunday at the Pape Funeral Home, and 11 a.m. to the funeral hour Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be William Zaiser, Joseph Eble, Vernon Smith, Arthur McNamara, George Meyermann and William Klahn. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Tolson, Albert Paysen, Michael Dewell, Ardan Price, Arthur Lollich, George Pillers, Jr., Jasper Morgan, Frank Jensen, and Ben Meyermann. Raun was born Dec. 18, 1916 in Clinton, so of Henry and Lulu (Klare) Raun. He was a retired supervisor from Clinton Corn Processing Co. He married LaVonne Ehlers on Feb. 8, 1940 in Clinton. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where he belonged to various church organizations. He was a member of the Izzac Walton League and the 25 year club of Clinton Corn. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Brown of Edwardsville, Ill.; three sons, Paul Robert and William Henry, both of Clinton, and Theodore C. of Vail, Colorado; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lyle (Virginia) Utroska of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
