L. A. Little died Tuesday afternoon after a two months illness. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church Thursday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. James P. Gable, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery, the Masons having charge of the services at the grave. During the services the business houses were closed.

Mr. Little was the son of W. Ebenezer and Jane Little, and he was born in Fayette county, Nov. 21, 1866. When he was 14 he moved to Strawberry Point with his parents, where he has since resided with the exception of two years at Burr Oak. On June 21, 18__ (looks like 1886), he married Addie Hale. For twelve years Otto _____(looks like Fuehr) and Mr. Little were proprietors of a garage and for the last three years the latter was manager of the Shirk oil station. Mr. Little was a member of Strawberry Point lodge No. 130 A.F. & A.M.

His father passed away May __ (looks like 14), 1903; a brother, Edwin S., Nov. 7, ____ (looks like 1892); three sisters, Elizabeth J., Oct. _ (looks like 4), 187_; Mary _., Oct. 6, 18__ (looks like 1871 or 1877), and Mrs. ____ Griffin, Jan. 27, 19__ (looks like 1902); and his mother, Nov. 23, 1920. Surviving are his widow and two nephews, Dale Griffin of Lincoln, Nebr., and Major Little of Kansas City, Mo.
