Saturday, June 01, at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Garnavillo, Miss Vivian Milewsky and John C. Meyer were united in marriage. The Rev Alexander Meyer officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin W. Milewsky of Garnavillo, and the groom the son of Mrs. D. D. Roggensack, Elkader. The bride was attended by Mrs. Wm. Renkel of Hollywood, Calif., sister of the groom, and Mrs. Martin Eilers. Robert Meyer of Stillwater, Oakl., attended his brother, while Martin Eilers was the other attendant. The ushers were Geo. Witte and Gene Milewsky, cousin of the bride. Mrs. Anna Glesne, grandmother of the groom, was in attendance.
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer left for a week's wedding trip to the Ozarks in Tennessee.
Mrs. Meyer is a graduate of Garnavillo high school and Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. The past two years she has been teaching at Parkersburg, Iowa. Her groom is a graduate of Elkader high school. He had a year at each of the following: Luther college, Decorah; A and M college, Stillwater, Okla., and Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, where he took architectural engineering.
