My grandfather was Henry Jones, born April 1870, Corwen, Merionethshire, Wales, immigrating to US 15 Mar 1899. Ship's manifest says going to join "Aunt Winnifred Evans, Linn Grove, IA". He was residing with the Evans family at the time of the 1900 Census (18 Jun 1900). Henry's father was Evan Jones, born 23f Aug 1825. Witnesses to his marriage to Elizabeth Roberts on 1 Dec 1848 were Rice Jones and Gwen Evans, believed to be his brother and sister. Their father was William Jones.
