Funeral Friday For
William Crosby

William Francis Crosby, former Osceola man and a long time Great Lakes Pipe Line employee, died at Omaha Monday. He was 55 years old.

A native of Woodburn, he was a son of William J. and Ethel M. Gills Crosby. He was born on February 13, 1909. He joined the Great Lakes company many years ago and has been employed at Omaha for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Catholic church and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Sylvian Cole of Weldon; a half sister, Mrs. Wesley Smith of Macomb, Ill.; two step brothers, Dale Gracey of Osceola and Cleo Gracey of Dewey, Okla.

Services will be at the Webster Funeral Home on Friday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. Father John Cunningham of Leon will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery at Woodburn.
