Nancy Kaye King, 52, of Mason City, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by those who loved her.

A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, with Pastor Kathy Graves officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.

The family and aides will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Nancy was born June 16, 1964, to Keith and Lorraine (Groh) King in Mason City. She was a fun and loving person with a spunky attitude. Growing up she loved school, family, friends and shenanigans. She also loved to dance and listen to Richard Marx. She worked previously as a court reporter and enjoyed her years in college.

Nancy is survived by her siblings, David (Pam) King, Jimmy (Kathy) King, Sena (Jim) Amos, Dion (Sandy) King and Dana Peterson; nieces and nephews, Lana, Michael, Bobby, Ashley, Hunter, Kelli, Wesley, Taylor, Jennifer, Autumn (Bryan), Nathan (Brandy), Alicia (John) and Allison; great-nieces and nephews, Harmony, Alysa and Azik; beloved cats, Momo and Oliva; special friends, Kelly Kaiser, Nancy Economos and Cathy Lange; and her aides, Cassandra Lindloff, Jackee Lindloff, April Lindloff, Cathy Jones, Cayla Brunning, Jennifer Nobbs and Rachel Myrick. She also had a special love for Zoie and Serenitti for making her smile often.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith King and Lorraine (special friend, William McClain) King; and her special dog, Sophie.
