Angeline M. DiGregorio Boss, 86, of Mason City, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

Inurnment services will take place at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.majorericksonfuneralhome.com .

Angeline was born December 29, 1927, in Mason City, the daughter of Frank and Maria (Baccanale) DiGregorio. She graduated from Mason City High School, Mason City Junior College and Drake University. Angeline taught school in Thornton, Des Moines and Sheffield, Iowa.

In 1955, she moved to Long Island New York where she taught school in the Hempstead New York school district for 30 years. She retired from teaching in 1985 and returned to Mason City.

She was an accomplished seamstress and avid gardener.

Angeline is survived by her siblings, Elsie E. DiGregorio of Mason City, Ralph DiGregorio of Carlsbad, California and Eda Godges of Seal Beach, California; son, John Durbin of Michigan; many nieces and nephews.

Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kurt Boss; sisters, Mafalda Janswick, Bessie Kaemmerling and Leola VonWald.
