I am sorry to say that birth records before July 1880 simply do not exist. Iowa State law didn't require births to be filed as the county level until that time. Same goes for Death records. Now marriages were recorded beginning 1837 because the gov't charged a fee for a license.

Federal Censuses, family bios' or obituaries might help to prove family relationships.
