Last rites for Mrs. Marion (Ruby G.) Jennings, 81, were held at the West Branch United Methodist church May 8 with the Rev. Samuel J. Hahn officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens, Iowa City. Mrs. Jennings died at her home May 5 following a heart attack.

The daughter of Charles and May Wilkenson Combs, she was born in Missouri Sept. 9, 1902. She was married to Marion Jennings Jan. 31, 1923. He died in 1978.

Mrs. Jennings was a member of the West Branch Methodist church, United Methodist Women and Juanita chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Sunshine and County Line social clubs and the Farm Bureau.

She is survived by a son, Robert, Cedar Rapids; 3 granddaughters, one great-grandson; 3 brothers, Harley and Harold Combs, both of Redding and John Combs, Clearfield and a sister, Mrs. Cleda Daniels, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.
