Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Dyas, 72, Bellevue, who was killed July 5 in a one-car accident near Mechanicsville, were July 8 at Bellevue with the Dr. Laurence Nelson, pastor of First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was in Presbyterian cemetery.

Mabel Elliott was born in August, 1892, a daughter of Lewis and Lida Elliott, at Elliott, Ohio. As a child she came to West Branch with her family. She graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and west to Bellevue in 1916 to teach in the public schools.

She was married in May of 1917 to L. E. Kucheman at West Branch. He died in April, 1939. Following his death, Mrs. Dyas taught and served as a sorority housemother in Iowa and Arizona. She married Robert Dyas of Bellevue in 1951. She was a charter member of Chapter FL, PEO, Bellevue, a library board member and belonged to the Presbyterian church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Elliott Kucheman, Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. George (Constance) Voss, Grandview, N.Y.; 3 granddaughters, a grandson and great-granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Parke Moore of Kissimee, Fla.
