Funeral services were held Friday in Davenport for Walter W. Williams, 53, a native of Cedar county. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery at Tipton.

Mr. Williams died suddenly of a heart attack.

He had moved to Davenport in March 1951. He married Norma Ohrt Feb. 23, 1955. She died June 13, 1938. He was a mail contractor for the government.

He is survived by two children, Mrs. Shirley Good, Davenport, and Wesley, Tipton; two brothers, Ray and Clay, Davenport, and William, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Kamberling, Davenport, Mrs. Marie Brockmann, Dixon, and Mrs. Mary Logdson, Parkersburg, W. Va., and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were John Graham, Edward Kleppe, Ed Ohrt, Bill Ohrt, Arnold Brockmann Jr., and Chester Smith.
