17 May 1917 - West Branch Times

On Sunday, May 13th, at 4:00 p.m. there occurred the death of Miss Hettie Robinson of West Branch, Iowa, at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. R. White, of Iowa City. The funeral was held at the residence here on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment was in Pedee cemetery.

A ladies quartette composed of Mesdames Munger, Gill and Larson and Miss Madge Elliott, sang the songs, "The Little Brown Church" and "He Leadeth Me". Two nice instrumental selections were rendered on the violin by Miss Florence White of Iowa City. The prayer was offered by Rev. Laura Townsend and the Scripture was read by Rev. I. A. Bartholomew and the sermon was preached by Rev. W. H. Mitchell, of DeWitt, Iowa, who was formerly pastor and Sunday School teacher of the deceased.

Thus another quiet but useful soul has left loved ones here to mourn, the Misses Minnie and Mary at home and Mrs. W. R. White of Iowa City and countless friends, but she has entered into life eternal.
