Ane Marie Ericksen, daughter of Erick and Maren Knudsen, was born in Norre-Uttenju, Denmark, Nov. 10, 1859.

She came to Jewell, Iowa, in 1890, and a couple of years later to West Branch, where she made her home for a number of years.

In 1900 she went to North Dakota where she was taken sick and has been an invalid ever since. She was brought back here and cared for at many different places. Eight years ago she was taken to the Cedar County home, where she peacefully passed away on Sept 2, 1927.

She leaves to mourn her sister, Mrs. Andrew Olsen, of Webster City, Iowa, and a brother and sister in Denmark. Funeral services were held at the Danish Lutheran church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. H. P. Jensen. Interment was made in the West Branch cemetery.
