Friends here have received word of the death of John Rifley of Walla Walla, Wash. Four brothers, Robert, Will, John and Harry Rifley came to West Branch from the Pennsylvania home a number of years ago. Robert remained here during most of his life, marrying and raising a family here, and at his death, was buried at West Branch. The others drifted away. John Rifley worked for some time for William Brown, and also for W. G. Mingus. Later he moved to Minneapolis and finally went to Walla Walla. He is survived by his widow, and two brothers, Will and Harry of Minneapolis.
