Mrs. Elizabeth Harris Manley, formerly of Tipton, died Feb. 22 at St. Paul, Minn. Born in Friend, Nebraska, Dec. 25, 1875, she lived many years in Tipton. She was the widow of John E. Manley, former General Secretary of the National Council of the Y.M.C.A. As a young woman, she was a traveling secretary for the Student Volunteer Movement and State Secretary of the Y.W.C.A. of Indiana. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. L. A. MacEachron, St. Paul, Minn. and Mrs. Charles Fowler of Sheffield, Mass.; a son, J. C. Manley, Bradford, Pa.; and 3 grandchildren.
