Hi: you wanted info concerning Wendel Hacker, Templeton, IA. This is some info in the Templeton Iowa Centennial Book. Includes the Wendel Hacker family etc. Also a photo of Wendel's parents (Wendeline Hacker and Maria Irlbeck) wedding photo) It states that Wendeline and Maria had 8 children, Wendel of Templeton, Mary, Kate, Anna, Mathew, Henry of Templeton, Joseph and Frances.
Wendeline Hacker, son of Wolgang and Catherine Hacker, was born in Bavaria, Germany, Oct. 14, 1867. He was married to Married to Maria Irlbeck in Templeton, IA on 10/13/1891. Rev. B.H. Schulte perfomed the ceremony. Maria, was a daughter of Frank and Anna Irlbeck, also was born in Bavaria, Germany. Wendeline passed away at Ft. Smith Arkansas on 12/7/1945. Maria passed away at Chaarleston, Arkansas on 12/25/1916. Hope this helps, if you need a photo etc., please email me.
