What business had a big 300
pound hog being out at 11:30 at
night, four young people from
Manning would like to know.
Anyway Sir Hog has now sworn
off night life and is laid up for
repairs at a farm near Audubon.
While Orville Martins, Edmund
Schultz, Elizabeth Sinn and Cath-
erine Brunner were returning from
a party near Audubon to their
home at Manning about 11:30 an
overgrown hog stalked onto the
road in front of their car.
The next thing the hog was in
the ditch on one side of the road
and the four young people in the
ditch on the other side.
Miss Brunner was seriously in-
jured, her collar bone being broken
and other injuries resulting. Al-
though the car turned over, no
one else was hurt.
