Her early years were spend in or near Charles City where she attend school and enjoyed life in the family circle of her own home. In 1917 she came with her parents to Greene where she entered the public school graduating with the class of 1920.

She was a girl of quiet beauty in character. Her Christian ideals were shown in her faithful attendance at the Methodist Sunday School in Greene.

Several weeks ago she went to Waterloo where she contracted an illness that proved to be typhid fever which later developed into typhoid pneumonia, causing her death.

She is survived by her parents and two brothers, Ernest and Harold and a host of relatives.

I'm not seeing her on the list but appears that her father may be buried there as well as several others with that surname.
