Jamersons of Butler Co. Iowa

JAMERSON, PEEBLES, FORBES, STANTON, PHILLIPS, CALNON

Looking for descendants of Luke W. Jamerson b.1831-d.1899 and his wife Lucy Peebles Jamerson b.1831-d.1917 of Butler Co., Iowa. They were born in New York state and moved first to La Salle, Illinois then to Butler Co. Iowa. They had five children: Lilly, Coy, Edward,Josephine and ??? Luke was a farmer and in the 1895 Iowa census he was listed in the Beaver Division, Section 15; a man named Patrick Calnon age 36 from Ireland was also living with Luke and Lucy as a laborer. Lucy Peebles Jamerson was the older sister of my grgrgrandmother Frances Peebles Stanton of Martinsburg, New York, Lewis County and other sisters were Sarah Phillips, Alice Phillips and Ida Forbes and brothers. I would so very much enjoy hearing more about their life and children.
