MRS. C. M. LEITERITZ.
Mrs. C. M. Leiteritz, another of the pioneer mothers of this section passed away at her home in this city Monday afternoon after an illness of several months’ duration of diabetes.

She was married May 3, 1898 to C. M. Leiteritz and they at once came to Iowa locating on a farm two and a half miles northwest of Plainfield, where they lived for 29 years. They moved to Nashua in the fall of 1897 and this city has since been their home. Three children were born to this union, one son, Walter, dying at the age of 5 years. The remaining children are Mrs. Louise Barkhausen, of Plainfield and Mrs. Laura Lundt of the city. She is also survived by her father, 87 years of age, and two brothers, Herman Pahnisch of Russell, Minn., and Anton Pahnisch of near Plainfield and six grandchildren.

She was a faithful member of the German Lutheran church and the pastor of her chosen faith, Rev. Duerschner, of Ionia conducted the funeral services which are held from the home at 10 a. m., today. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
