Seeking additional information about Ella Pea b. abt. 1864, Boone County, IA, m. 26 Oct 1881 to Jay Leslie. Ella and Jay had two children: Andrew Frank Leslie b. 10 Jul 1884, Boone County, and Maude b. abt. 1890. Andrew Frank and Maude are listed in the 1895 Boone County, IA, state census, but I don't know with whom they lived. I have not found them in the 1900 Federal census. Andrew Frank Leslie moved to California. I would like to know if the Jay Leslie who married Ella Pea in Boone County in 1881 is the same person as the Jay Leslie (also known as Rhesa Nesler b. 15 Jan 1854, IN, d. 5 Nov 1942 Wright Co., IA) who Emma Zella Thompson in Carroll Co. in 1875 and married Eva Shunkweiler in Franklin County in 1890; if so, did Ella die or were they divorced? If they divorced, did Ella remarry? What became of Ella and Maude? I.e. where and when did they die and where were they buried?
