Thomas Bean?

Thomas Bean supposedly was born 1824 in PA and died in Appanoose county in 1872. I am not having any luck finding birth or death records. Wonder if anyone else can help? I would really like to get Thomas Bean's birth & death record.
He's son of Jacob Bean and Margaret Blythe, married Nancy Jane Leighter, as a 2nd marriage, and had 3 kids from this second marriage: Thomas (also), James Calvin/Jack Corey, Nancy and Cora.
James Calvin is my great-grandfather. There are also half-brother and sisters with surname of Deater. I am interested in any and all info about them that may be available, or other leads to find. Thank you!
