Edwin Henry Brender was born June 23, 1921 to Gustav E. “Gust” and Bertha E. Bokorney Bender. He died Apr. 12, 1943 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, MO.
Lt. Brender served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died as a result of an airplane accident while on a food dropping mission, enroute from India to China.
