Kenneth W. Stanberg

Kenneth W. Stanberg, 71, 1128 Ave. B. was dead on arrival at Trinity Regional Hospital Saturday morning following a sudden illness.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Bruce Memorial Chapel with Roger W. Emken, Kingdom Hall of Jehova Witness, officiating. Burial will be in McGuire Bend Cemetery, Lehigh.

Survivors include the widow, Nellie; daughters, Mrs Charles Lyon, Manson; and Mrs. Paul Rosendahl, Clara City, MN.; sons; William, Fort Dodge; and Kenneth Jr., Cherokee; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother Charles, Fort Dodge.

Kenneth Stanberg was born in Lundgren and attended Webster County schools. He married Nellie Bass in 1929 at Fort Dodge and the couple farmed in the Dayton area on a farm west of Fort Dodge, and later in Clara City, MN. where they farmed for 15 years. He retired in 1971 and returned to Fort Dodge.
