Since the Moore Cemetery was most likely on the residence of Samuel Moore, I've researched the location of his property. According to the 1885 Iowa census Samuel Moore's property was 80 acres in the south half of the southeast quarter of section 15, Township 77, Range 22, Richland Township. This is, in fact about two miles east and a quarter mile north of Hartford. The few maps I've found of Warren County (1875, 1904, 1912) do not show a cemetery there. Also, both Samuel and his wife, Margaret (who died after him), are buried in the Hartford Cemetery (see his gravestone photo in Find A Grave). Samuel was born Aug 24, 1816 and died Oct 2, 1886, while Margaret Parks Moore was born June 12, 1819 and died Dec 16, 1892.
