The annual Ringgold County Reunion was held on the first Friday of February, Feb. 3, at Ann's Restaurant in San Juan, Texas. This year marked the 29th or 30th year with the first one, according to the past sign up registrations, held in 1998.Those attending were Marilyn and Francis Pritchett of Mount Ayr, Carol and Art Hayes of Council Bluffs, Mary and Bob Hower of Des Moines, Paul and Mary McKinney of Mount Ayr, Bessie Austin of Diagonal, Pat Dolecheck of Johnston, Kay and Lloyd Drake of Tingley, Bev Olney McCord of Nixa, MO and Mel Curry of Willard, MO, Glenn and Janice Johnson from Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Rose James of Mount Ayr, Kay and Alan Oshel of Flemington, MO and Kenneth and Phyllis Robison of Donna, Texas. Next year's event will be held at the McAllen Mr. Gatti's Restaurant located at 4100 N. 2nd St. on the first Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. Everyone wintering in south Texas from Ringgold County or connections to Ringgold County are invited to attend.
