Membership decreases to 6. 1964-65: Conference beings sponsoring football. 1963-64: Strawberry Point consolidates with Arlington and Lamont to form Starmont. The new school remains in the conference. Membership remains at 10. 1962-63: Monona becomes M-F-L. East Buchanan joins from the AllAc Conference. Kee, Marquoketa Valley, and South Winneshiek join. Membership increases to 10. 1961-62: Edgewood and Colesburg consolidated to become Edgewood-Colesburg. Volga City leaves. Membership decreases to 6. 1954-55: Edgewood joins from the Delaware County Conference. Membership increases to 9. 1953-54: Strawberry Point joins.
