1963: Louisa-Muscatine, Winfield-Mt. Union, Danville, Mediapolis, and Morning Sun leave for the all-sports Southeast Iowa Conference, which adds football as a conference sport. Riverside, Ainsworth??

1962: Louisa-Muscatine joins. Brighton leaves. Wayland consolidates with Olds and to Crawfordsville to form WACO. The new school competes in the all-sports Blackhawk Conference. League begins playing 11-man football.

1954: Brighton joins. Membership increases to 7.

1953: Ainsworth, Wayland, Winfield, Danville, Mediapolis, Morning Sun. Form the Southeast Iowa 8-man Football Conference. Original membership is 6.
