1991-92: Murray leaves.

1990-91: Fox Valley and Hedrick join. Conference is renamed Southern Empire Conference. Membership increases to 7.

1987-88: Clearfield leaves. Membership decreases to 5.

1982-83: Martensdale-St. Marys and Van Meter leave. Conference is renamed South Central 6 Conference. Membership decreases to 6.

1977-78: Russell leaves. Van Meter joins. Membership remains at 8.

1968-69: Lineville-Clio joins. Conference is renamed South Central 8 Conference. Membership increases to 8.

1967-68: Clearfield, Murray, Prescott, Martensdale-St. Marys, Diagonal, Russell, and Grand Valley form the South Central 7 Conference. Original membership is 8.
