Membership Changes
1989-90: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn leaves for the Siouxland ConferenceAlta and Aurelia consolidate to form Alta-Aurelia. The new school leaves for the Twin Lakes ConferencePaullina-Primghar leaves for the War Eagle ConferenceSutherland leaves to help form the Big West ConferenceOkoboji becomes an independent. The conference disbands.
1988-89: Hartley-Melvin and Sanborn consolidate to form Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn. Paullina and Primghar consolidate to form Paullina-Primghar. The new schools remains in the league. Membership decreases to 6.
1987-88: Milford becomes Okoboji. The new school remains in the league. Membership remains at 8.
1980-81: Hartley becomes Hartley-Melvin. The new school remains in the league. Membership remains at 8.
1975-76: Harris-Lake Park moves to the State Line Conference for football, as Sanborn returns from football-only membership in the Quad County Conference.
1968-69: Harris-Lake Park joins for football-only, as Sanborn ends competition in this sport.
1950-51: Sioux Rapids leaves for the Little Northwest Conference. Membership decreases to 8.
1945-46: Cleghorn leaves. Membership decreases to 9.
1942-43: Milford joinsMembership increases to 10.
1941-42: Sanborn joins. Membership increases to 9.
1937-38: Cleghorn 
joins. Membership increases to 8.
1936-37: Marcus leaves. Primghar and Hartley join. Membership increases to 7.
1933-34: Alta, Aurelia, Marcus, Paullina, Sioux Rapids,and Sutherland form the Sioux Valley Conference. Original membership is 6.
