Membership remains at 9. 1989-90: Northeast Hamilton joins from the disbanding Mid-Iowa Conference. Twin Rivers consolidates with Gilmore City-Bradgate to form Twin River Valley. The new school remains in the conference. Membership increases to 9. 1988-89: Alden joins from the Mid-Iowa Conference. Meservey-Thornton and Sheffield-Chapin consolidate to become S-C-M-T.
