The league disbands. 2005-06: Durant becomes Durant-Bennett. The new school remains in the league. Membership remains at 11. 2000-01: Williamsburg joins from the South Iowa Cedar League. Membership increases to 11. 1986-87: Tipton joins from the WaMaC Conference. Regina joins from the East Central Conference. Membership is 10 1972-73: Clear Creek-Amana joins from the Benton County Conference. University High leaves. Membership remains at 8. 1963-64: University High, West Liberty, Wilton, West Branch, Mount Vernon, and Durant of the disbanding Eastern Iowa Conference; Solon of the Wapsie Conference; and Mid-Prairie of the disbanding Miscowa Conference form the Eastern Iowa Hawkeye Conference. Original membership is 8. Football and Track-only 1963-64: Wapello, Columbus Junction, and New London leave for the Southeast Iowa Conference. Durant and Mid-Prairie join. Conference begins sponsoring all-sports. Membership remains decreases to 8. 1948-49: Wapello, Columbus Junction, New London, Winfield, University High, West Liberty, Wilton, West Branch, and Mount Vernon form the Eastern Iowa Hawkeye Conference.
