Membership History
1991-92: Conference disbands, as all league schools leave to help form the Central Iowa Metro League. 
1983-84: Ames joins from the Big Eight Conference. Des Moines Tech closes. Membership remains at 8.
1967-68: Valley, West Des Moines of the South Central Conference; Des Moines East, Des Moines Hoover, Des Moines Lincoln, Des Moines North, Des Moines Roosevelt, Des Moines Tech, and Dowling Catholic form the Des Moines Metropolitan Conference. Membership is 8.
