Membership Timeline
1961-62: Grand Meadow is absorbed by Marcus (Maple Valley Conference). Pierson consolidates with Kingsley (Maple Valley Conference) to form Kingsley-Pierson. The new school competes in the Maple Valley Conference. Meriden-Cleghorn leaves to help form the Five Star ConferenceLarrabee is absorbed by Cherokee (Lakes Conference). Willow (a consolidation of Quimby and Washta), Cushing? Conference disbands.
1960-61: Meriden and Cleghorn consolidate to form Meriden-Cleghorn. Membership decreases to 7.
1959-60: Marcus leaves to full align with the Maple Valley Conference. Membership decreases to 8.
1958-59: Cushing joins. Membership increases to 9.
1956-57: Pierson joins. Membership increases to 8.
1955-56: Quimby, Washta, Larrabee, Grand Meadow, Meriden, Cleghorn, and Marcus form the Cherokee Valley Conference. Original membership is 7.
