Northwest Webster consolidates with Manson (Twin Lakes Conference) to form Manson-Northwest Webster. The new school competes in the Twin Lakes Conference. United joins from the disbanding Mid-Iowa Conference. Central Dallas joins. Membership is 7. 1987-88: Central Webster-Dayton and Northwest Webster join from the disbanding River Valley Conference. Membership increases to 9.1986-87: Scranton is absorbed by Jefferson (Midwest Conference), which is renamed Jefferson-Scranton. Madrid joins. Membership remains at 7. 1984-85: Coon Rapids and Bayard consolidate to form Coon Rapids-Bayard. The new school remains in the conference. Membership decreases to 7. 1976-77: Cedar Valley, Y-J-B, East Greene, and Paton-Churdan of the disbanding West Central Conference; Scranton, Bayard, Coon Rapids, and Glidden-Ralston of the disbanding Coon Valley Conference form the Central Valley Conference.
