Membership Changes
2008-09: All Boyer Valley conference members (Manning, IKM, Logan-Magnolia, West Harrison, Woodbine, Ar-We-Va, Charter Oak-Ute, and Boyer Valley) disband the conference and join with the 12 members of the Maple Valley Conference to form the Western Valley Activities Conference. IKM and Manning consolidate to become IKM-Manning and the new school also moves to the new league.
1997-98: East Monona leaves. Membership decreases to 8.
1994-95: Schleswig is absorbed by Denison (Hawkeye 10 Conference). Membership decreases to 9.
1989-90: Dow City-Arion and Dunlap consolidate to form Boyer Valley. Membership decreases to 10. 
1987-88: Irwin-Kirkman and Manilla consolidate to form IKM. The new school remains in the league. Membership decreases to 11.
1985-86: Manning joins from the Midwest Conference. East Monona joins from the Little Sioux Conference. Manilla joins. Membership increases to 12.
1979-80: East Monona leaves for the Little Sioux Conference. Membership is 9 in 1983-84.
1963-64: West Harrison and East Monona join. Membership increases to 10.
1962-63: Logan becomes Logan-Magnolia. Membership remains at 8.
1961-62: Charter Oak consolidates with Ute to form Charter Oak-Ute. Membership is 10.
1959-60: Logan and Woodbine join from disbanding Western Iowa Conference. Membership increases to 8.
1957-58: Dunlap joins from the Western Iowa Conference. Membership increases to 6.
1956-57: Ar-We-Va, Irwin, Dow City, Charter Oak, and Schleswig form the Boyer Valley Conference. Original membership is 5.

1944-47: Manilla and St. Ann's join. Arcadia leaves. Membership is 9.
1943-44: Dow City joins. Arthur leaves.
1934-35: Earliest known lineup includes Arthur, Charter Oak, Westside, Arcadia, Vail, Kiron, Deloit, and Schleswig. Membership is 8.
