This conference sponsored a yearly basketball tournament, but does not appear to have ever played a regular season schedule or sponsored other sports.

Membership Changes
1960-61: Conference disbands.
1959-60: Gilmore City and Bradgate consolidate to form Gilmore City-Bradgate. Membership decreases to 6.
1958-59: Corwith consolidates with Wesley to form Corwith-Wesley. Membership remains at 7.
1957-58: Corwith joins. Membership increases to 7.
1956-57: Renwick and Vernon Township combine to form Boone Valley. Livermore, Bode, and Ottosen consolidate to form Twin Rivers. Bradgate joins. Membership is 6. 
1948-49: Corwith and West Bend  leave. Ottosen and Gilmore City join. Membership remains at 8.
1942-43: Humboldt leaves. Vernon Township joins. Membership is 8.
1935-36: Corwith joins. Membership increases to 8.
1933-34: Clarion leaves. Membership decreases to 7.
1929-30: Earliest known lineup includes Humboldt, Clarion, Goldfield, Lu Verne, Renwick, West Bend, Bode, and Livermore. Membership is 8.
1916-17: Conference was founded by Bode, Livermore, Lu Verne, Renwick, and Goldfield; and 4? others as Big Nine Conference.
